Amazing Grace (Bagpipes)
Written by John Newton around the end of the 1770s, this tune is relatively new to the pipes. Amazing Grace is one of my favourites on this instrument. Lyrics: "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me.... I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now, I see. T'was Grace that taught... my heart to fear. And Grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that Grace appear... the hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils and snares... we have already come. T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far... and Grace will lead us home. The Lord has promised good to me... His word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be... as long as life endures. When we've been here ten thousand years... bright shining as the sun. We've no less days to sing God's praise... then when we've first begun. "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me.... I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now, I see.

God going to Calvary, dieing on the cross, sacrificed His blood for OUR sins.. that WE may be washed white as snow, for none of us are righteous , none of us are good enough to get into heaven.. but we sure are bad enough to get into hell. without JESUS.. and His blood..that was shed for US.. we would all be cast into the fire. Hell is not motivation for belief in God. Eternal damnation means nothing to an atheist. But all can feel the power of this song. It’s the love and grace of God in the lyrics that moves people. If Jessie or anyone chooses to seek God then they should do so not out of fear of some kind of eternal punishment, but instead in an effort to change their lives and the lives of those around them. Recognizing and repenting our faults and sins, and living our lives for others and for God is what saves us.

Jessie… it breaks my heart to hear someone say that they dont believe God exist.. He does exist.. and there will be NO atheist in hell.. all will believe. hell is a very real place just as much as heaven is. and it is eternal. please let God into your heart an trust Him with your soul. He can save you.. He wants to save people , it was never meant for any one to die and to go to hell. all you have to do is repent.. and ask God to save you. GOD loves you.
