A little too much background wind but OMG this is good. My early years were where I was exposed and truely learned to appreciate this. My father was a world ranked Drum Major. Traveled with him to many events. But Amazing Grace always brings tears because it was played at Massed Bands for the closing ceremony at an event where he won a world championship and led the bands. Even now it seems sureal 30 years later. He’s gone now but he will live in the pipes and drums with me forever.

I herd this song played from distance. It was the most haunting sound I’ve ever heard. I never knew these pipes could be heard for that many miles. Hearing the cries softly whisper through the hills is something I will never forget for the rest of my life. God bless those Scottish lads.
