i play 23 instruments proficiently and just started on the pipew, WZH1953 he sucks, why? cause he is showing what you must do if you want to be a bad piper. pipes just have to be blown to make a sound but thats not playing. and further more, you have to have a realy trained ear to hear the correct sound, which you do not have if you think that way. i suggest you stop acting like the “know it all” and train a bit your ear in bagpipe music.

this video doesnt teach nothing part from bad habbits. farm boy may teach but its rubbish. yes i play the pipes in scotland and compete. if people want to learn how to play the bagpipes learn from some1 who knows what there talking about plz cuz 1 u wil just give ppl a headache and 2 u will just get laughed at

I just think people should be a little more considerate with their comments. We all do the best we can and it is not real cool to bash someone for their efforts. If you don’t like someone what good is there in running them down other than trying to show that you are better.

you are a schmuck. And yes I am a true professional. Meaning I compete at the profesional level, not ripping people off posing as a piper. I wouldn’t let this kid even look at my bagpipes. Is he your life partner or something? Well keep listening to self proclaimed professionals and I am sure you will do very well disgracing the instrument I have worked my ass off to learn properly. He should have probably stuck with the mandolin. As the saying goes you get what you pay for.

The guy does pretty fair, maybe nervous but he plays 10 instruments proficiently, has played the bagpipes professionally for 5 years, and is doing this for free. All you negative know it alls are pathetic. What do you play? With yourselves?

How is that a good start? First of all your drones were so wavey, and second, you came in on a low a when your supposed to land on an e, btw. but yes bagpipes are a very hard instrument to play so you still deserve some credit

well, the guy at least has the right idea, but he’s not very confident, and definately not in tune. and the pipes are struck in, not tapped. never heard o that before. and when you do bring your chanter in, do so on e, not low a. its even written on virtually every single piece of pipe music. lol
